We help student Athletes be found by collegiate recruiters.
Most showcases and camps will promise an opportunity for players to perform in front of a college scout or representative. Unfortunately, players are rarely signed from these events. Often times for a player to be signed, they must be the perfect fit for a college on the day that they showcase. If a player has a bad day or if the coach or scout is not looking for that position, the player will often times have wasted their money. Furthermore, nearly all showcases and camps end once the players leave.
A new type of showcase
We founded Uncovering Potential because we spent the thousands of dollars on travel ball, prospect camps, and college showcases and learned along the way that this is not the most effective way to be recruited by college coaches.
Why?
Showcases tend to only promote the best players at a given position to the colleges present.
College coaches and scouts in attendance tend to overlook players that do not fit their current team needs.
Travel tournaments offer minimal exposure as college coaches and scouts will often times attend to see 1 to 2 specific players, overlooking others.
