Refund Policy
All sales are final; however, we at Uncovering Potential are aware that certain situations may occur preventing participation in an Uncovering Potential event. The following is a list of potential situations that could merit eligibility for a refund under Uncovering Potential’s Standard Refund Policy:
- Injury – If a participant were to receive a major injury before the start of an Uncovering Potential event that would prevent participation in the event, the participant would be eligible for a refund. The requesting party would be responsible for providing a letter from a doctor to Uncovering Potential within 5 business days of the completion of the event.
- Weather – If weather were to prohibit participation in 1 of the events scheduled days, the aforementioned day would be rescheduled the following day. If weather conditions prevent the event from being completed, participants would be eligible for a refund.
- Low Participation – Uncovering Potential reserves the right to cancel a showcase event if the total number of participants does not exceed a number in which benefits all parties best interest. If an event is cancelled due to low participation, Uncovering Potential will provide notice to all participants within in 48 hours of the event start date.
Standard Refund Policy:
If a participant is eligible for a refund due to injury, weather, or low participation (as previously defined in the above section), participants can elect one of the following refund options:
Option 1:
A complete refund of the total amount paid for the event minus a $20 processing/administration fee. This refund will be paid by check from Uncovering Potential and mailed out within 5 business days after following the scheduled Uncovering Potential event.
Option 2:
A credit applied towards any future Uncovering Potential event. This credit would need to be applied within 1 year of the previously scheduled Uncovering Potential event.
Photo & Video Release
By registering for an Uncovering Potential showcase, you are giving Uncovering Potential permission to use any photo and video taken by the Uncovering Potential team and staff on this website, our social media, promotional pieces, advertisements, and any other marketing campaign. If you uploaded your own player image, you are giving us permission to use it on our website, social media, promotional pieces, and any other marketing campaigns, as needed by Uncovering Potential and any outside agency working on behalf of Uncovering Potential.
Deletion of Player Profile
All player profiles will be active for a total of 1 year from the date of the showcase. You may renew your player profile by participating in a new showcase, and your profile will be updated with the most recent stats.
Showcase Location Policy
Uncovering Potential does not own any facility and are required to abide by the rules and policies of the facilities in use. Uncovering Potential does not control the facilities and any photographs and video taken by the facility or facility management are not controlled by Uncovering Potential. By participating in an Uncovering Potential showcase, you are giving your permission to the facility to take their own photos and videos to be used on their website, social media, and any other marketing campaign.
